More Than a Trip: Discerning What God Is Building in Malta

We’re really grateful you’re here and walking with us.

Your prayers and support are a blessing to us, they are part of every step we take. What you’re about to watch is a glimpse of that.

Last year, we traveled to Malta with a simple but weighty assignment: to discern whether the Lord was inviting us to contend for the establishment of a House of Prayer in a place where we had no history, no network, and no obvious open doors.

The video below captures that trip, it shows what happens when we say yes and step into the unknown. You’ll see how the Lord begins to open doors, how relationships with local pastors and leaders form, and how unexpected connections turn into meaningful conversations. None of this was something we could have planned or manufactured.

Since that trip, we’ve been consistently praying for Malta every Monday from 3:30 to 5:00 PM. Not occasionally—consistently. Because we’re convinced that what is sustained in prayer has a far greater chance of being sustained in reality.

And now, after months of contending in prayer, we’re beginning to see something take shape.

The Lord is stirring the heart of a family in Malta—people who are not just inspired by the idea, but who may actually carry the weight of building something long-term. We’re currently in conversation with them, asking careful questions and seeking clarity on what obedience looks like from here.

Would you contend with us for:

  1. Clear direction from the Lord for this family.
  2. Wisdom for us as we discern how (or if) we are meant to support them in any way.

What you’re seeing in Malta is not an isolated story. It’s part of a larger invitation the Lord is extending in the nations.

As we look ahead to this year, we’re preparing to return to regions like Macedonia and potentially step into other nations. But again—we don’t want to move just because doors are open. We want to move where there is true alignment with what God is building.

Take a few minutes to watch the video below. And as you do, don’t just observe—ask the Lord what your role is in what He’s doing among the nations. We are his co-workers in God's service. This is an amazing priviledge!

We’re deeply thankful for you.

"So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building."
1 Corinthians 3:7-9
